View the IPMDAR Dataset Files

Prerequisites

  • Create the IPMDAR dataset for the project. The output is a set of JSON encoded data files. See Produce IPMR Formats.
  • You will need to know the name of the directory where the set of JSON encoded data files are located.
  1. Select Reports > IPMDAR in the Navigation Menu. A separate Reporter window displays. The default view is the File tab window.
  2. Click View Json File. A separate Json Viewer window displays with a left and right pane.
  3. Click Import Files at the top of the left pane. Navigate to the directory where the set of JSON encoded data files are located.
  4. Select one or more .json files and click Open. The files you selected are listed in the left pane.

  5. Select the file you want to view in the left pane. The contents of the file display in the right pane as rows and columns.

    Tip:

    Depending on the content of the .json file, you can drag a column to the top to group by that column. For example, when the file includes the control account, you could group by that field to make it easier to review the data. You can also apply filters to columns or sort the columns as needed.

  6. Click Clear Files to remove the files you have imported. This clears the files listed in the left pane.
  7. Close the Json Viewer window to return to the Reporter window.
  8. Close the Reporter window to return to EVMax.
